Mission Statement

GOSPEL ROADSHOW is at the intersection of faith and talent.
We believe there is no higher calling than to serve Christ and our neighbors.  Combining our musical abilities and faith allows us to share those gifts and passions with our audience and exalt the name of the Lord.

A concert by GOSPEL ROADSHOW is exciting!  Standard gospel and newer Christian tunes along with original songs make for a mix that includes something for everyone. Come one, come all!

Get to know the band…

Mike Grigsby (Lead vocals and guitar)

Husband, father, former pastor, retired executive chef, singer/songwriter and published author; Mike stays busy. He and his sweetie, Laura, have 4 grown sons and a grandson.  They enjoy home improvement projects, live theatre, and traveling. Helping people begin and develop deeper relationships with Jesus and one another is a call He answered in 1982.

He plays Martin, Taylor, Epiphone, and LYS guitars and uses Fender, SHS, and Shure equipment.

His motto is “Live life; it’s a mistake not to!” and a scripture verse that means a great deal to him is Romans 8:38-39.

Mike Timmons (Lead Guitar / Vocals)

Being a husband and father come second only to the Lord.

Mike has owned an IT consulting business for 18 years. His interests include hunting, fishing, golfing and playing music.  He is a Fender man and his preferred style of music is country. From a very musically talented family, Mike has been playing guitar for 27 years and lead guitar for the last 8 years.

His favorite and most impactful verse from the Bible is the first verse he ever learned and the one that has more meaning than any other.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

George Bryn Heil (Rhythm Guitar / Vocals)

George is husband to Jeanette and father to four kids and grandfather to nine!  He lives in a rural area perfect for the studio he built where GOSPEL ROADSHOW rehearses.  His gear of choice includes Fender, Gibson, Marshall and Carvin musical instruments and sound equipment.

He retired from the medical field as a registered nurse and spends his free time playing music and hunting.

He’s known to mutter, “Whatever…” as a favorite saying and when asked his favorite scripture verse, he responded, “all of it.”

Dan Bowling (Drums / Percussion / Vocals)

Playing drums and percussion while singing harmony vocals makes Dan a vital piece of the GOSPEL ROADSHOW puzzle.

He spends his day with kids… he does school maintenance. “Mr. Dan” is an important part of their day!

He plays both acoustic and electronic drum kits utilizing Roland, Gibraltar, Pearl, Ziljian and Shure equipment.  Music creation and farm maintenance are a couple of his pastimes.

Married to Jessica, (“the ever-lovely bride and goddess of my lifetime.”), is father to four girls, grandfather to six and great-grandfather to one.

He knows and often says, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”.

Για μένα το να ζεις είναι Χριστός και το να πεθαίνεις κέρδος

Philippians 1:21 (For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain.)

Paul Reagan (Keyboards)

Retired church builder and contractor, Paul spends his time as an active member of the volunteer fire department in his community.

He plays piano and keyboards in the band and uses Medeli, Keystation, and Roland gear.

Besides the piano, Paul also plays guitar and bass! In his free time he can be found fishing and working on home improvement projects for Sallie (the love of his life).

He believes “Life is precious; never take it for granted.”

Paul finds strength and motivation in John 3:16.

Ned Eric Davis (Bass Guitar)

Eric skillfully carries the low end of the music.  He uses equipment by Epiphone, Fender, Taylor, Gibson, Alvarez and Crate.  He has six bass guitars!

He retired from customer service and now spends his time playing music. His favorite hobby is instrument care.

He and his wife, Candice, have 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 greats!

Eric is often heard saying, “Just a suggestion…”

1 Thessalonians 5:18 is a favorite passage of scripture.

Lesley Williams (Administrative)

Lesley is a wife to Dusty and mother to Roper. She spends her time on her ranch in East Texas raising roping steers and riding horses with her family. As a former Childrens Pastor, she has a heart to see people reached for Jesus. She supports the mission of the band using the administrative gift the Lord provided.

She works in Human Resources in the Natural Gas Industry where she has been for 19 years.

Her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:12-13 "In those days when you pray I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly you will find me."
